Prevention is important!

In order to detect diseases as early as possible or even to avoid them, certain preventive medical check-ups are necessary. An overview of the useful investigations can be found here.

Bowel Cancer Screening (every 1-2 years from the age of 50)
A stool sample gets examined to see if it contains non-visible blood. This can indicate bowel cancer. If blood is detected in the stool, a colonoscopy follows to clarify the cause.
